Payment to. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Orville Ferguson, Kansas City, Missouri, the sum of $2,500, in full settlement of all claims against the United States for damages sus-52 Stat. 1312tained by the said Orville Ferguson as the result of being negligently shot and permanently injured at the Kansas City, Missouri, post office on February 1, 1927, by a United States Marine on guard duty at such *Proviso.* Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. post office: *Provided,* That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any Penalty for violation.contract to the contrary notwithstanding.

Payment to. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Peter Wettern, of Red Wing, Minnesota, the sum of $1,841, in full settlement of all claims against the United States for personal injuries received on November 5, 1935, near Red Wing, Minnesota, when an automobile in which he was riding was struck by a Civilian Conservation *Proviso.* Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees.
