(/us/bill/75/pl/62)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Représentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That there isFrance.Payment to, as indemnity for personal injuries to Henry Bor day, authorized.*Post*, p. 768. hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for payment to the French Government for the account of Henry Borday, a citizen of France, as compensation for personal injuries sustained by him due to an assault at his place of business at Port au Prince, Haiti, by two United States marines on October 3, 1916, the sum of $1,000.
