(/us/pl/75/258)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Bankruptcy Act of 1898, amendment.[48 Stat. 916](/us/stat/48/916).[11 U. S. C. § 207 (c)](/us/usc/t11/s207/c).Reorganization, etc., of private corporations. That subdivision
(c)of section 77B of the Act entitled “An Act to establish a uniform system of bankruptcy throughout the United States”, approved July 1, 1898, as amended (U. S. C., 1934 ed., title 11, sec. 207 (c)), is amended by inserting after clause
(3)thereof the following: Power of Court to authorize lease or sale of debtor’s property.“(3½) may, for cause shown, and in accordance with such rules as to notice and hearing as the Supreme Court may prescribe, authorize the debtor, or the trustee or trustees, if appointed, to lease or sell, upon such terms and conditions as may be approved by the judge, any property of the debtor, whether real or personal;”.
