(/us/pvt/75/89)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Comptroller Capt. Benjamin Dutton, Jr., Navy, and others. Credit in accounts of. General of the United States is hereby authorized and directed to credit the accounts of Captain Benjamin Dutton, Junior, United of States Navy, in the amount of $401.43; Captain C. H. J. Keppler, United States Navy, in the amount of $1,078.76; Commander Leo H.
Thebaud, United States Navy, in the amount of $540.08; and Lieutenant Commander Gordon S. Bower, Supply Corps, United States Navy, in the amount of $150.74, which sums represent payments of exchange relief made by these four officers to Captain Joseph J. A. McMullin, Medical Corps, United States Navy, in the amount of $1,119.61; to Lieutenant Commander Lloyd E. Clifford, United States Navy, in the amount of $540.08; and to Lieutenant (Junior Grade) F. P. Kreuz, Medical Corps., United States Navy, in the amount of $511.32, and disallowed in their accounts by the Comptroller General of the United States.

Gockeler. Provisions of Employees’ Compensation Act extended to. [39 Stat. 746, 747](/us/stat/39/746/747). [5 U. S. C. §§765–770](/us/usc/t5/s765/770). of sections 15 to 20. both inclusive, of the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes”, approved September 7, 1916, as amended, are hereby waived in the case of Edward L. Gockeler, of Saranac Lake, New York, formerly employed from September 18, 1917, to January 1, 1918, as a clerk by the Committee on Public Information, Washington, District of Columbia, and the United States Employees’ Compensation Commission is authorized and directed to consider and act upon any claim filed by him under the provisions of such Act, as amended, within six months after the date of enactment of this Act, Time limitation.for compensation for disability alleged to have resulted from tuberculosis contracted by him while in the performance of his duties as such employee, but compensation, if any, shall be paid from and No back pay.after date of enactment of this Act.
