(/us/bill/75/pvtl/395)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryGallup’s, Inc.Payment to. of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Gallup’s, Incorporated, Kansas City, Missouri, the sum of $198.50. The payment of such sum shall be in full settlement of all claims against the United States for damages sustained by the said Gallup’s, Incorporated, on account of the destruction by fire at Washington State Park, De Soto, Missouri, on March 12, 1935, of certain surveying instruments which were leased by such company under its former name of “Gallup Map and Supply Company” to the Department of the Interior, National Park Service: *Provided*, That no part of the amount appropriated*Proviso*.Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Any personPenalty for violation. violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. R. 615](/us/bill/75/hr/615)][[Private, No. 396](/us/bill/75/pvtl/396)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryMargaret Voorhees.Payment to guardian. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $3,000 to the legal guardian of Margaret Voorhees, a minor, of Fonda, New York, in full settlement of all claims against the Government of the United States for injuries sustained on July 2, 1935, at Fonda, New York, by Margaret Voorhees, as the result of the explosion of a torpedo firecracker thrown by a member of Company H, Sixty-sixth Regiment United States Infantry: *Provided*,*Proviso*.Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees.
