(/us/pl/74/430).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the AdministratorUnited States Veterans’ Administration.Official seal; judicial notice. of Veterans’ Affairs be, and he is hereby empowered and directed to cause a seal, which shall be judicially noticed, to be made and provided for the Veterans’ Administration, with such device as in his judgment shall seem proper. Copies of any public documents,Authentications. records, or papers belonging to or in the files of the Veterans’ Administration, when authenticated by the seal and certified by the Administrator of Veterans’ Affairs, or employee of the Veterans’ Administration to whom proper authority shall have been delegated, in writing, by the Administrator, shall be evidence equal with the originals thereof.

R. 7680](/us/bill/74/hr/7680).][[Public, No. 431](/us/pl/74/431).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That section 1 ofKilling or assaulting Federal officers.Vol. 48. p. 780.[U. S. C., p. 739](/us/usc/p739).*Post*, p. 1940. the Act entitled “An Act to provide punishment for killing or assaulting Federal officers”, approved May 18, 1934 (48 Stat. 780; U. S. C., title 18, secs. 253 and 254), be and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
" “That whoever shall kill, as defined in sections 273 and 274 of the Criminal Code, any United States marshal or deputy United States marshal, special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the Department of Justice, post office inspector, Secret Service operative, any officer or enlisted man of the Coast Guard, any employee of any United States penal or correctional institution, any officer of the Customs Service or of the Internal Revenue Service, any immigrant inspector or any immigration patrol inspector, any officer or employee of the Department of Agriculture designated 6y the Secretary of Agriculture to enforce any Act of Congress for the protection, preservation, or restoration of game and other wild birds and animals, any officer or employee of the National Park Service, any officer or employee of, or assigned to duty in, the field service of the Division of Grazing of the Department of the Interior, or any officer or employee of the Indian field service of the United States, while engaged in the performance of his official duties, or on account ofPunishment.[U.
