(/us/pvt/74/92).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Commissioners Lyman C. Drake. Payment to. *Ante,* p. 580. of the District of Columbia be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Lyman C. Drake the sum of $1,316.40 on account of an award made by the United States Employees’ Compensation Vol. 45, p. 600. U. S. C., p. 1500. Commission on September 6, 1934, under the District of Columbia Workmen’s Compensation Act.
Case Numbered 4927-91, for personal injuries sustained by the said Lyman C. Drake on April 6, 1933, while in the employ of the District of Columbia Committee *Provisos.* Payment to be in full settlement, etc. on Employment: *Provided,* That payment to and the receipt by the claimant of the sum herein appropriated shall be in full settlement of any and all claims arising out of said personal injuries: *And provided Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees.further,* That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, on account of services rendered in connection with said claim.
It shall be unlawful for any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, to exact, collect, withhold, or receive any sum of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof on account of services rendered in connection with said claim, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Penalty for violation.Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.

Hogan, of Augusta, Georgia, the sum of $62.01, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and in full settlement of all claims against the Government of the United States for erroneous payments of Postal Savings certificates which they were *Proviso.* Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. charged with: *Provided,* That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, on account of services rendered in connection with said claim.
