(/us/pvt/74/595)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the SecretaryMrs. Ollie Myers.Payment to. of the Navy be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay out of the current appropriation “Pay of the Marine Corps”, to Mrs. Ollie Myers, mother of Earl Eugene Myers, late private, United States Marine Corps, an amount equal to six months’ pay at the rate said Earl Eugene Myers was receiving at the date of his death: *Provided*, That the said Mrs.
Ollie Myers establish to the satisfaction*Proviso*.Establishment of dependency. of the Secretary of the Navy that she was actually dependent upon her son, Earl Eugene Myers, at the time of the latter’s death, and the determination of such fact by the Secretary of the Navy shall be final and conclusive upon the accounting officers of the Government. Any person violatingPenalty for violation. the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
