Cordis of Portland, Oregon, formerly 2294employed as a deckhand on the United States dredge Clatsop, and the United States Employees’ Compensation Commission is authorized and directed to consider and act upon any claim filed by him under the provisions of such Act, as amended, within six months after the date of enactment of this Act, for compensation for disability resulting from injuries received by him on September 15, 1928, while cleaning, in the performance of his duties as such *Proviso*.No prior benefitsemployee, certain sand chutes: *Provided*, That compensation, if any, shall be paid from and after the date of enactment of this Act.
