Credits allowed in accounts of designated officers, etc. Captain K. W. Slauson. Captain H. M. Denning. Major S. R. Beard. Major George Z. Eckels. General of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to credit in the accounts of Captain K. W. Slauson, Quartermaster Corps, $225.07; Captain H. M. Denning, Finance Department, $4;
Major S. R. Beard, Finance Department, $5.63; and Major George Z. Eckels, Finance Department, $16.92, said amounts being public funds for which they are accountable and which comprise minor errors in computation of pay and allowances due military personnel who are no longer in the service of the United States, and which amounts have been disallowed by the Comptroller General of the United States. Major J. B. Harper. Sec. 2. That the Comptroller General of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to credit in the accounts to Major J.
B. Harper, Finance Department, $24,882, said amount being public funds for which he is accountable and which represents payment made to the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company for electric ranges purchased under specific instructions of the Secretary of War and which amount was disallowed by the Comptroller General of the United States. R. N. Walker and Company. Payment to, for storage purposes. Sec. 3. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to R.
N. Walker and Company, Nagasaki, Japan, $74.35, being the amount due this company for storage charges for the period June 7, 1930, to October 19, 1930, on household goods of an officer of the Army in transit to his new station in the United States. W. E. Howard. Property damages. Sec. 4. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to W. E. Howard, Island Park, New York, $880, being the amount found due him as damages to his property at Island Park, New York, by reason of an Army airplane crash on September 8, 1933.
