(/us/pl/72/206)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Official insignia of the United States.Unauthorized wearing, etc., of, prohibited. That hereafter the manufacture, sale, or possession of any badge, identification card, or other insignia, of the design prescribed by the head of any department or independent office of the United States for use by any officer or subordinate thereof, or of any colorable imitation thereof, is prohibited, except when and as authorized under such regulations as may be prescribed by the head of the department or independent office of which such insignia indicates the wearer is an officer or subordinate.
Sec. 2. Punishment for. Any person who offends against the provisions of this act shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. That the times for commencing and completing the construction of a bridge across the Sabine River, between Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, and Newton County, Texas, where Louisiana Highway Numbered 7 meets Texas 343Highway Numbered 87, authorized to be built by the State ofVol. 46, p. 1416, amended. Louisiana and the State of Texas, by an Act of Congress approved February 24, 1931, are hereby extended one and three years, respectively, from date of approval hereof. Sec. 2. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved.
