That in the administration of the pension laws James L. Pate shall hereafter be held and considered to have been honorably discharged from the military service of the United States as a private in Company A, Twelfth Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry, on the 20th day of *Proviso*.No back pay, etc.September, 1862: *Provided*, That no pension, back pay, or bounty shall be held to have accrued prior to the passage of this Act.

That in the administration of any laws conferring rights, privileges, and benefits upon honorably discharged soldiers Nelson King, who was a member of Company A, Fifth Regiment Vermont Volunteer Infantry, shall 1753hereafter be held and considered to have been honorably discharged from the military service of the United States as a private of that organization on the 13th day of September, 1864: *Provided*, That no*Proviso*.No back pay, etc. bounty, back pay, pension, or allowance shall be held to have accrued prior to the passage of this Act.
