May 23, 1928.[[S. 3699](/us/bill/70/s/3699).][[Public, No. 494](/us/pl/70/494).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the land-grant Land grant railroad.Rate of Army transportation on, from EastPortland, Oreg., to Roseville, Calif.railroad heretofore operated, and now being operated, between the station formerly known as East Portland, in the State of Oregon, 723and Roseville, in the State of California, shall hereafter receive compensation for transportation of property and troops of the United Vol. 14, p. 272.States at the same rate as is paid to land-grant railroads organized under the Land Grant Act of March 3, 1863, and the Act of July 27, 1866 (chapter 278): *Provided,* That the Congress hereby reserves the *Proviso.*Right to prescribe charges reserved.right at any time by law to prescribe such charges as it deems advisable for such Government transportation.
