R. 15333](/us/bill/70/hr/15333).][[Public, No. 660](/us/pl/70/660).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Lake Michigan.Bridge authorized across, opposite mouth of Chicago River, by Commissioners of South and Lincoln Parks. That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the South Park Commissioners and The Commissioners of Lincoln Park, separately or jointly, to construct, maintain, and operate, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across that portion of Lake Michigan lying opposite the entrance to Chi-1079cago River, Illinois, in the city of Chicago, county of Cook, andConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84.
State of Illinois, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906. Sec. 2. That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to The CommissionersMichigan Canal.Bridge authorized across, in Chicago, Ill., by Commissioners of Lincoln Park. of Lincoln Park to construct, maintain, and operate, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, a free highway bridge, abutments, and approaches thereto across Michigan Canal, otherwise known as Ogden Slip, in the city of Chicago, county of Cook, and State of Illinois, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitledConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84.

That the actual construction of each of the bridges authorizedTime for construction and completion. in this Act shall be commenced within two years and shall be completed within four years from the date of the passage of this Act.
