Elkins, junior, Army. Payment to, for withheld salary. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury of the United States not otherwise appropriated, to John W.
Elkins, junior, former recreation officer at Fort Benning, Georgia, but now a captain in the United States Army at Davidson, North Carolina, the sum of $940, the same being in full compensation of the amount remaining due on his salary because of the stoppage of pay arising out of a shortage found in the motionpicture fund at Fort Benning, Georgia, in 1924, due to embezzlement by a subordinate officer. Approved, March 2, 1929.
