R. 8110](/us/bill/70/hr/8110).][[Public, No. 450](/us/pl/70/450).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the northwest Public lands.Site of battle between Nez Perces Indians and Army under Nelson A. Miles withdrawn from entry.quarter section 12, township 30 north, range 19 east, Montana meridian, is hereby withdrawn from all forms of entry under the public land laws of the United States, for the purpose of preserving the site of the battle between Nez Perces Indians under Chief Joseph and the command of Nelson A.
Miles. Sec. 2. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized to Agreement with Montana, etc., for care, etc.enter into an agreement with the State of Montana, or Blaine County, Montana, or citizens of Montana, or either or any of them, for the care and upkeep of the herein-described lands. Sec. 3. That the lands hereby withdrawn from entry shall be designated Designated as Chief Joseph Battle Ground of the Bear’s Paw.and known as the Chief Joseph Battle Ground of the Bear’s Paw.
