M. Edwards. Compensation for loss of her husband’s personal property. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to M. M. Edwards, widow of Lieutenant John Davis Edwards, 1832chief engineer of the United States ships Shaw, United States Navy, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and in full settlement against the Government, the sum of $1,000 for the loss of her husband’s household goods and personal effects which were destroyed in the disaster to the United States ship Shaw, occurring on October 9, 1918, which destruction was due to collision with His Majesty’s ship Aquitania.
