March 2, 1929.[[H. R. 16955](/us/bill/70/hr/16955).][[Public, No. 906](/us/pl/70/906).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the consent ofMeherrin River.Camp Manufacturing Company may bridge, in Hertford County, N. C. Congress is hereby granted to the Camp Manufacturing Company, a corporation of the State of Virginia, its successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a railroad bridge and approaches thereto across the Meherrin River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at a point distant in a northwesterly direction along the center of said river about four and six-tenths miles from the confluence of said Meherrin River with the Chowan River, in Hertford County, in the State of North Carolina, in accordance with theConstruction. provisions of an Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction ofVol. 34, p. 84. bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. The right to sell, assign, transfer, and mortgage all theRight to sell, etc., conferred. rights, powers, and privileges conferred by this Act is hereby granted to the Camp Manufacturing Company, a corporation of the State of Virginia, its successors and assigns; and any corporation to which or any person to whom such rights, powers, and privileges may be sold, assigned, or transferred, or which shall acquire the same by mortgage foreclosure or otherwise, is hereby authorized to exercise the same as fully as though conferred herein directly upon such corporation.
Sec. 3. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, March 2, 1929.
