Knowles.Payment to, salary as Minister to Nicaragua. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and 2035in full settlement against the Government the sum of $1,666.67 to Horace G. Knowles as salary for the period of March 30, 1909, to July 30, 1909, during which period he was commissioned as a minister of the United States to Nicaragua and was all that whole period under instructions to await orders of the State Department.
