R. 8900](/us/bill/70/hr/8900).][[Public, No. 159](/us/pl/70/159).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Tombigbee River.Alabama may bridge, at Gainesville.
That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the highway department of the State of Alabama to construct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across the Tombigbee River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Gainesville on the Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.Gainesville-Eutaw road between Sumter and Green Counties, in the State of Alabama, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. Former Act repealed.Vol. 44, p. 217, repealed. The Act of Congress approved March 22, 1926, entitled “An Act granting the consent of Congress to the highway department of the State of Alabama to construct a bridge across the Tombigbee River near Gainesville on the Gainesville-Eutaw road between Sumter and Green Counties, Alabama,” is hereby repealed. Sec. 3. Amendment. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, March 12, 1928.
