February 14, 1929.[[H. R. 58](/us/bill/70/hr/58).][[Public, No. 745](/us/pl/70/745).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Postal Service.Railway postalclerks may be assigned as substitute sea-post clerks. That the Postmaster General is authorized to assign railway postal clerks and substitute railway postal clerks to temporary employment as substitute sea-post clerks whenever, in his opinion, such employment is necessary.
Such employees shall receive credit on their Railway MailService credit and pay, authorized. pay records for the time employed in the sea-post service, but shall be allowed the salary and expenses of a Class I sea-post clerk, payable out of the appropriation available for maintaining sea-post service, in lieu of any other salary and expense. Approved, February 14, 1929.
