That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and in full settlement against the Government, to Loretta Pepper, of Ashland, Pennsylvania, the sum of $5,000 on account of injuries sustained by her when struck by a United States mail truck at Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, on December 23, 1926. Approved, January 29, 1929.
