That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Ray Ernest Smith, of the county of Rutland and the State of Vermont, the sum of $160, in full compensation for the loss of a horse in the military service at Fort Ethan Allen, Vermont, during the World War. Approved, January 29, 1929.
