February 2, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Oliver C. Bosbyshell.Relieved from liability for certain embezzlement at Philadelphia mint.States of America in Congress assembled*, That Oliver C. Bosbyshell, late superintendent of the United States mint at Philadelphia, is hereby relieved and discharged from all liability for the acts of Henry S. Cochran, late weigh clerk of said United States mint at Philadelphia, in the embezzlement or larceny of certain gold-bullion bars, the property of the United States aforesaid, and from all liability to account for any and all embezzled or stolen gold bullion bars by the said Henry S.
Cochran, as aforesaid, the same having been without the default or negligence of the said Oliver C. Bosbyshell. Approved, February 2, 1899.
