Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William Henry Smith, late a private in Company C, of the Fifteenth Regiment New York Engineer Volunteers, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars a month in lieu of the pension he is now receiving. Approved, January 28, 1899.
