May 14, 1898. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of theSallie Work.Pension.
Interior be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Sallie Work, orphan, permanently helpless invalid and dependent daughter of James B. Work, late private of Company F, Fifty-fifth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month, and that same be paid to her legal guardian when appointed. Approved, May 14, 1898.
