CHAP. 78.— An Act For the immediate relief of the Buttering poor of the District of Columbia.February 9, 1895. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,District of Columbia.Appropriation for relief of the poor. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of ten thousand dollars, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the immediate relief of the suffering poor of the District of Columbia, to be disbursed under the direction of the Commissioners of said District, by the organized charities of said District, one-half of said sum to be charged to said District.
