CHAP. 99.— An act to grant a pension to John G. Shawbell.May 7, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,John G. Shawbell.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John G. Shawbell, late an assistant surgeon in the service of the United States, of the Ninth Regiment of Kansas Cavalry.
