CHAP. 259.— An act to place the name of William G. Schoonover on the pension-roll.May 8, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,William G. Schoonover.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William G. Schoonover, father of James C. Schoonover, late of Company E, One hundred and fourth Illinois, who died of wounds at Chattanooga on the twenty-seventh day of June, eighteen hundred and sixty- four, in general hospital ward numbered six.
Received by the President, April 27, 1886.
