CHAP. 11.— An act for the relief of Joseph W. Parish.Feb. 20, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Joseph W. Parish.Payment, to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to Joseph W. Parish, late of Peoria, Illinois, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise 654 FORTY-NINTH CONGRESS. Sess. I. Chs. 11, 12. 1886. appropriated, the sum of fifty-eight thousand three hundred and forty-one dollars and eighty-five cents, being the balance of money laid out and expended by him in the purchase of seventeen thousand two hundred and thirty-two tons of ice for the use and at the request of the Government of the United States, which were not afterward called for or taken by the Government but were wholly lost to said Parish.
