Chap. II.— An Act *to alter the time of holding one of the terms of the District Court in the district of Maine.* Nov. 28, 1811. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, *District court to be held at Wiscasset, on the second Tuesday of September annually. That from and after the passing of this act, the district court of the United States for the district of Maine, shall be hold it at Wiscasset, within said district, on the second Tuesday of September, annually, instead of the first Tuesday of said month, any thing, in any former act, to the contrary notwithstanding.(*a*)(*a*) By the act of March 3, 1813, chap. 60, the time for holding the sessions of the district court at Wiscasset, was changed from be first Tuesday of March, to the last Tuesday of February.
By the act of April 3, 1818, chap. 9, the district court of Maine, before holden on the last day of May in each year, shall be holden at the same place on the first Tuesday of June in each year.
