XX.— An Act *to repeat Part of an Act entitled “An Act to provide for the Safe-keeping of the Acts, Records, and Seal of the United States, and for other Purposes.”* April 23, 1856. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That so much of the act entitledFees for authenticating copies from State Department.1789, ch. 14, § 6.Vol. i. p. 69. ‘An act to provide for the safe-keeping of the acts, records, and seal of the United States, and for other purposes,” as is embraced in the last clause of the sixth section of said act, and which reads in words as follows:
“For authenticating a copy of a record or paper, under the seal of office, twenty-five cents,” shall be and the same is hereby repealed. Approved, April 23, 1856.
