104 STAT. 909 Public Law 101–421 101st Congress An Act To amend the Contract Services for Drug Dependent Federal Offenders Act of 1978 to provide additional authorizations for appropriations.Oct. 12, 1990[[H.R. 3007](/us/bill/101/hr/3007)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Drug and Alcohol Dependent Offenders Treatment Act of 1989. [18 USC 3661 note](/us/usc/t18/s3661). SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.This Act may be cited as the “Drug and Alcohol Dependent Offenders Treatment Act of 1989”.
SEC. 2. REAUTHORIZATION. Section 4(a) of the Contract Services for Drug Dependent Federal[18 USC 3672 note](/us/usc/t18/s3672). Offenders Act of 1978 is amended—
(1)by inserting “and the 7th paragraph of section 3672 of title 18, United States Code” after “purposes of this Act”;
(2)by striking “; and” and inserting a semicolon; and
(3)by striking the period at the end and inserting “,$30,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1990; $40,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1991; and $45,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1992.”.
