## SEC. 564 RATE OF PAY FOR THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON DISABILITY AND REHABILITATION RESEARCH Notwithstanding section 202(c)(2) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 761a(c)(2)), the Secretary of Education is authorized to compensate any individual appointed during calendar year 1994 to be the Deputy Director of the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research at the rate of basic pay for a position at ES–5 of the Senior Executive Service Schedule.
