## SEC. 835 MODIFICATION TO EXTRAMURAL ACQUISITION INNOVATION AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES Section 4142 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####

(1)by striking subsection (c); ####

(2)by redesignating subsections (d), (e), and

(f)as subsections (c), (d), and (e), respectively; ####

(3)in subsection (a), by striking “subsection (d)” and inserting “subsection (c)”; and ####

(4)in subsection (e), as so redesignated, by striking “Director” and inserting “Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment”.
