## SEC. 6309 FORMALIZED COUNTERINTELLIGENCE TRAINING FOR DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY PERSONNEL ###
(a)Training Section 215(d) of the Department of Energy Organization Act (42 U.S.C. 7144b) is amended by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(3) > > The Director shall develop and implement— > > > ##### “(A) > > a plan and cost assessment for delineated and standardized counterintelligence training for all personnel who interact with classified and sensitive military technology and dual-use commercial technology in the Department; and > > > ##### “(B) > > a delineated and standardized training plan to train officers in the Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence who have counterintelligence responsibilities on counterintelligence skills and practices.” > . ###
(b)Reporting Requirement Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of the Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence of the Department of Energy shall provide to the congressional intelligence committees a briefing on the plans developed under section 215(d)(3) of the Department of Energy Organization Act (as amended by subsection (a)), including with respect to— ####
(1)the training content; ####
(2)periodicity; ####
(3)fulfillment rate; ####
(4)internal controls; and ####
