## Sec. 114 authority of the railroad retirement board ###
(a)The Board may prescribe such regulations as may be necessary to carry out its duties under this title. ###
(b)In carrying out its duties under this title, the Board may exercise such of the powers, duties, and remedies provided in subsections (a), (b), and
(d)of section 12 of the Railroad Unemployment Insurance Act (45 U.S.C. 362 (a), (b), and (d)) as are not inconsistent with the provisions of this title. **[**[45 U.S.C. 1011](/us/usc/t45/s1011)**]**
