## Sec. 20 authority of the railroad retirement board ###
(a)The Board may prescribe such regulations as may be necessary to carry out its duties under this Act. ###
(b)In carrying out its duties under this Act, the Board may exercise such of the powers, duties, and remedies provided in subsections (a), (b), and
(d)of section 12 of the Railroad Unemployment Insurance Act as are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act. **[**[45 U.S.C. 918](/us/usc/t45/s918)**]**
