## SEC. 904 ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF DEFENSE FOR ENERGY, INSTALLATIONS, AND ENVIRONMENT ###
(a)Increase in Authorized Number of Assistant Secretaries of Defense Subsection (a)(1) of section 138 of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 903 of this Act, is further amended by striking “14” and inserting “15”. ###
(b)Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations, and Environment Subsection
(b)of that section, as so amended, is further amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(7) > > One of the Assistant Secretaries is the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations, and Environment. The principal duty of the Assistant Secretary shall be the overall supervision of matters relating to energy, installations, and the environment for the Department of Defense.” > . **[**Section 905 was repealed by section 902(d) of division A of Public Law 117–81.**]**
