## SEC. 903 ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF DEFENSE FOR INDUSTRIAL BASE POLICY ###
(a)Increase in Authorized Number of Assistant Secretaries of Defense Subsection (a)(1) of section 138 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking “13” and inserting “14”. ###
(b)Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy Subsection
(b)of that section is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(6) > > One of the Assistant Secretaries is the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy. The Assistant Secretary shall— > > > ##### “(A) > > advise the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment on industrial base policies; and > > > ##### “(B) > > perform other duties as directed by the Under Secretary.” > .
