## SEC. 4006 FUNERAL ASSISTANCE **[**[42 U.S.C. 5174 note](/us/usc/t42/s5174)**]** ###
(a)In General For the emergency declaration issued by the President on March 13, 2020, pursuant to section 501(b) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5191(b)), andforany subsequent major disaster declaration that supersedes such emergency declaration, the President shall provide financial assistance to an individual or household to meet disaster-related funeral expenses under section 408(e)(1) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5174(e)(1)), for which the Federal cost share shall be 100 percent. ###
(b)Use of Funds Funds appropriated under section 4005 may be used to carry out subsection
(a)of this section.
