## SEC. 231 ###
(a)**[**[10 U.S.C. 1475 note](/us/usc/t10/s1475)**]** Any discretionary amounts appropriated in this Act in the current fiscal year and any fiscal year thereafter may be obligated for death gratuity payments, as authorized in subchapter II of chapter 75 of title 10, United States Code. ###
(b)Subsection
(a)shall only apply if an appropriation for “Coast Guard—Operations and Support” is unavailable for obligation for such payments. ###
(c)Such obligations shall subsequently be recorded against appropriations that become available for “Coast Guard—Operations and Support”.
