## SEC. 1221 MODIFICATION AND EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE VETTED SYRIAN OPPOSITION ###
(a)In General Subsection
(a)of section 1209 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. “Buck” McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 (Public Law 113-291; 128 Stat. 3541) is amended by striking “December 31, 2016” and inserting “December 31, 2018”. ###
(b)Reprogramming Requirement Subsection
(f)of such section, as amended by section 1225(e) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 (Public Law 114-92; 129 Stat. 1055), is further amended in paragraph
(1)by striking “December 31, 2016” and inserting “December 31, 2018”.
