## SEC. 103 DIRECT REPORTING **[**[22 U.S.C. 4802 note](/us/usc/t22/s4802)**]** The Assistant Secretary for Diplomatic Security shall report directly to the Secretary, without being required to obtain the approval or concurrence of any other official of the Department, as threats and circumstances require.
