## SEC. 27 STANDARDS FOR CERTAIN LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS PIPELINE FACILITIES ###
(a)National Security Section 60103(a) of title 49, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (5), by striking “; and” and inserting a semicolon; ####
(2)in paragraph (6), by striking the period and inserting “; and”; and ####
(3)by inserting after paragraph
(6)the following: > > #### “(7) > > national security.” > . ###
(b)Update to Minimum Safety Standards **[**[49 U.S.C. 60103 note](/us/usc/t49/s60103)**]** The Secretary of Transportation shall review and update the minimum safety standards prescribed pursuant to section 60103 of title 49, United States Code, for permanent, small scale liquefied natural gas pipeline facilities. ###
(c)Savings Clause Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit the Secretary’s authority under chapter 601 of title 49, United States Code, to regulate liquefied natural gas pipeline facilities.
