## SEC. 7127 DISTANCE EDUCATION AND RESIDENT INSTRUCTION GRANTS PROGRAM FOR INSULAR AREA INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION ###
(a)Distance Education Grants for Insular Areas ####
(1)Competitive grants Section 1490(a) of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3362(a)) is amended by striking “or noncompetitive”. ####
(2)Authorization of appropriations Section 1490(f) of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3362(f)) is amended by striking “ section ” and all that follows and inserting the following: > “section— > > > #### “(1) > > such sums as are necessary for each of fiscal years 2002 through 2013; and > > > #### “(2) > > $2,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2018.” > . ###
(b)Resident Instruction Grants for Insular Areas Section 1491(c) of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3363(c)) is amended by striking “ such sums as are necessary ” and all that follows and inserting the following: > “to carry out this section— > > > #### “(1) > > such sums as are necessary for each of fiscal years 2002 through 2013; and > > > #### “(2) > > $2,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2018.” > .
