## SEC. 110517 INCREASED PENALTY FOR INTERSTATE GUN TRAFFICKING Section 924 of title 18, United States Code, as amended by section 110515(a), is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: > > ### “(m) > > A person who, with the intent to engage in conduct that constitutes a violation of section 922(a)(1)(A), travels from any State or foreign country into any other State and acquires, or attempts to acquire, a firearm in such other State in furtherance of such purpose shall be imprisoned for not more than 10 years.” > .
