## SEC. 31206 INCREASED PENALTIES AND DAMAGES FOR ODOMETER FRAUD Chapter 327 of title 49, United States Code, is amended— ####

(1)in section 32709(a)(1)— #####

(A)by striking “$2,000” and inserting “$10,000”; and #####

(B)by striking “$100,000” and inserting “$1,000,000”; and ####

(2)in section 32710(a), by striking “$1,500” and inserting “$10,000”.
