§ 5530. Street permits.
No railroad or street railway shall be constructed upon a township street, nor shall a railroad or street railway crossings, driveway connections, gas pipes, water pipes, electric conduits or other piping be laid upon or in, nor shall a telephone, telegraph or electric light or power poles or coal tipples or other obstructions or facilities of nonpublic utility communication providers be erected upon or in any portion of a township street, except under conditions, restrictions and regulations, and subject to the payment of fees for permits as may be prescribed and required by the board of commissioners not exceeding the reasonable cost of issuing the permit and expense of inspecting the work authorized by the permit upon completion of the work.
All fees collected for permits shall be paid into the township treasury.
