For any violation of the Unfair Claims Settlement Practices Act, the Insurance Commissioner may, after notice and hearing, subject an insurer to a civil penalty of not less than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) nor more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for each occurrence. Such civil penalty may be enforced in the same manner in which civil judgments may be enforced. Added by Laws 1986, c. 251, § 20, eff. Nov. 1, 1986. Amended by Laws 1994, c. 342, § 14, eff. Sept. 1, 1994.
